Establishing an EHS Internal Audit Program
The ISO management system standards all require that organizations implement effective internal audit programs. These audit programs need to address identifying appropriate audit procedures, selecting competent auditors, communicating audit results and ensuring that audits are conducted on an appropriate schedule.
For more information about setting up a management system audit program, check out the www.ISO19011expert.com website.
The primary resource of establishing a management system audit program is ISO 19011:2011, Guidelines for management system auditing. This standard is currently in the process of being revised. For more information about the revision of this standard, click here.
